Thank you very much for your interest in our research! Our lab is interested in understanding the genetic basis of various human diseases and the related pathophysiology.
We are currently trying to learn more about the cause of kidney diseases, skin diseases, liver diseases, and hearing loss by studying genetics. We believe that DNA (genes) plays an important role in these diseases. Since DNA serves as the instructions for the body to carry out function, we hope to learn more about how changes in DNA can contribute to the cause of these conditions.
To achieve our goals, we are conducting human genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, and mouse genetics. We hope that our understanding contributes to better diagnostic tools and potential therapies.
